is an ancient lighting source: the top of a wick is lit with
one end soaked in oil in the base. Along with various styles
of Deungjan, all kinds of ancient lighting sources, including
candlesticks, are on display. A variety of shapes and colors
reflect the unique beauty of the items on display and they are
considered to be an important cultural heritage, both in a historical
and folkloristic sense. |
